 UAE enters top 10 global exporters list with $1.64tn trade milestone
ABU DHABI, 06 April. - (ANA) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) enters global top 10 exporters for first time as trade reaches $1.64 trillion, with $159 billion surplus and strong services growth, according to he World Trade Organisation (WTO) “World Trade Prospects and Statistics” report.
The milestone reflects the country’s growing role as a key hub in international supply chains and its expanding contribution to the global economy.
According to the report, the UAE’s total goods and services trade rose from $949 billion in 2021 to $1.637 trillion in 2025.
The UAE ranked 9th globally in goods exports and 13th in goods imports in 2025.
Total goods trade reached $1.33 trillion, with exports accounting for 53 per cent of total goods trade. - (ANA) -
