Pretoria, 24 Aug-(ANA)-With less than 300 days before the opening of the 2010 soccer World Cup, South Africa remains optimistic that more than 450 000 visitors will visit the country for the event.
Minister of Tourism Marthinus van Schalkwyk believes there is no reason to cut back the number of foreigners expected to visit.
The minister said the country continues to fare well against its competitors despite the effects of the global downturn. (ANA)
