 Can companies compete on equal terms when governments intervene in the market?

 PARIS, 16 Oct. - (ANA) - Yes, but they must follow competitive neutrality principles. 
 
The OECD just released a new Competitive Neutrality Toolkit to help competition authorities and other public officials identify policies that may distort the level playing field and develop alternatives that minimise such distortions. 
 
Ensuring competitive neutrality means that firms compete on the merits regardless of factors such as ownership, nationality or legal form.
