Rome, 14 Aug-(ANA)-Italian oil and gas giant- Eni – is to carry out exploration in the Democratic Republic of Congo in an effort to help boost its activities in Africa.
Under an agreement signed with DR Congo, Eni will conduct studies to develop conventional and non-conventional hydrocarbons, evaluate gas reserves in the eastern parts of the country.
Angola is currently the top oil producer in Africa having overtaken Nigeria. (ANA)
