Kenya restructures higher education

Nairobi, 06 Aug-(ANA)-The Commission for Higher Education of Kenya has prepared a new guideline that will take into account individual skills, talents and other competencies in determining who joins universities.

This move is to ensure that Kenya’s human resource is not only geared towards academic excellence but also that other key elements of  education are considered.

The least qualified lecturer will be a tutorial fellow holding a Masters degree, with three years experience and to pursue a doctorate (PhD) degree in the relevant field. (ANA)
