BEIRUT, 14 Oct. - (ANA) - The Israeli air force struck an aid convoy in eastern Lebanon, injuring the driver, Lebanese state media and local officials have said.

 

Baalbek-Hermel mayor Bachir Khodr, who was travelling in the convoy, tweeted images of the aftermath of the strike, saying the group was targeted in the town of Al Ain.

 

The five aid trucks, accompanied by the Red Cross, were carrying aid donated by the UAE and Turkey, according to Mr Khodr.

 

Mr Khodr and the state-run National News Agency both said a truck driver was wounded in the attack.  - (ANA) -
