Israel issues displacement orders for 25 southern Lebanese villages
JERUSALEM, 14 Oct. - (ANA) - The Israeli army has issued displacement orders for residents of 25 villages in southern Lebanon, saying they must immediately leave their homes and flee north of the Awali river.
Spokesman Avichay Adraee said residents must leave "without delay."
Anyone who is near Hezbollah elements, facilities or weapons is putting his life in danger.
The villages include Borgholiyeh, Qasimiyeh, Nabi Qasim, Deir Takla, and Tanbourit, among others.
The army said villagers are "prohibited" from moving south, saying "any movement south could be dangerous to your life."
More than 1.2 million people have been displaced by Israel's air strikes and ground invasion of Lebanon, most of whom have been forced from their homes since Israel launched all-out war last month. - (ANA) -
