 UK reshuffle 'sparks backlash'

LONDON, 14 Nov. - (ANA) - The former British Prime minister David Cameron will return to the cabinet table for the first time in more than seven years this morning after his "dramatic recall" to government.

As the new foreign secretary replacing James Cleverly, who became home secretary after the prime minister sacked Suella Braverman, Cameron was made lord to be able to join the government.

The changes are a "major gamble" by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to "revive his faltering premiership", while The Guardian described it as a "high-risk" reshuffle. Cameron's return has "sparked a backlash" from the "Tory right" and may cause division among the conservative party trailing in the polls before next year general elections.   - (ANA) -
