DR Congo London ambassador in arson attack
London, 10 June-(ANA)-The Congolese ambassador to the UK has said that he believes opposition activists may have been behind an arson attack on his London home on Saturday.
Kikaya Bin Karubi told the BBC that some groups had claimed responsibility for the attack saying they were acting in retaliation for the murder of a human rights activist.
Floribert Chebeya was killed in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, last week.
Two cars were destroyed in the attack, and the front of his house was damaged, the ambassador said.
He said he was worried for the safety of his family, who had been moved to alternative accommodation. (ANA)
