Rabat, 31 July-(ANA)-Morocco is seeking stronger cooperation with Ethiopia in the areas of trade and business, the Moroccan Ambassador to Ethiopia, Abdeljebbar Brahime has said.
Ambassador Abdeljebbar told the Ethiopian News Agency that the current economic growth in Ethiopia looked promising and appeared to be changing the nation.
“We wish stronger relations with Ethiopia because Ethiopia is a country with rich potential in terms of economy, business and culture,” the ambassador said.
He said the current relations between Ethiopia and Morocco is characterized by mutual respect, exchange of expertise, and common desire to bolster more bilateral links.
Morocco left the OAU, now AU in 1984, when many member countries supported the Sahrawi Arab republic, which Morocco considers its territory. (ANA)
