 Journalism’s love-hate relationship with Big Tech
LONDON, 03 April. - (ANA) - For nearly two decades, tech corporations – through innovations in search engines, social media, and artificial intelligence – have played a decisive role in shaping how news is produced, distributed, consumed, and publicly debated.
In the emerging world order, they also appear to be expanding their influence at the political level: CEOs intervene in election campaigns around the world and political institutions face economic pressure to amend legislation.
