Israel kills two in Gaza in ceasefire violation as thousands of aid trucks prevented from entering
ISRAELI OCCUPIED AND STARVED GAZA, 21 Oct. - (ANA) - An Israeli strike on Gaza City killed two Palestinians in violation of the ceasefire in the devastated territory, as it emerged that less than 1000 aid trucks had entered since it began 10 days ago.
The strike targeted the Sha'f neighbourhood in Gaza City on Monday, killing two Palestinians, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa, which added that 80 Palestinians have been killed and 303 wounded in Israeli violations since the start of the ceasefire.
The ceasefire agreement stipulated that 600 aid trucks should enter the Gaza Strip daily. The trucks are supposed to include food, medical aid, shelter materials, fuel, and gas and constitute the minimum needed to sustain life in the territory.
Gaza's government media office has said that only 986 aid trucks have entered the strip since the ceasefire began, well below the 6,600 trucks that have been needed in the same time period to sustain Gaza.
US officials are in Israel to shore up the troubled ceasefire amid Israel's violations, with Vice President J.D. Vance set to arrive in Tel Aviv later on Tuesday. - (ANA) -
