OECD Education at a Glance 2025

PARIS, 01 Oct. - (ANA) - Educational attainment has reached an all-time high. Nearly half (48%) of young adults in OECD countries now complete tertiary education, up from just 27% in 2000. Graduates often enjoy higher earnings, more stable jobs and better health.

The Education at a Glance 2025 report examines these trends across OECD countries and partner economies, including Argentina, Brazil, China, India and South Africa.

Education at a Glance is the authoritative source of information on the state of education worldwide. It offers comprehensive data on the structure, financing, and performance of education systems across OECD countries and partner economies. The report presents key insights into the output of educational institutions, the impact of learning across countries, access and participation in education, financial investment in education and school organisation.

The Education at a Glance 2025 edition places a special focus on tertiary education, examining attainment rates, variations in labour market outcomes by field of study, completion rates, and the skills of adults with tertiary qualifications. An additional chapter provides results from the Survey of Adult Skills 2023 (PIAAC) and links them to other relevant indicators.
