Lagos, Nigeria - 29 June-(ANA)-A fire department official has said that at least eight people have been killed in the collapse of a three-story building in Lagos, Nigeria.
Lagos State Director of Fire Services Adedeyo Aderemi says 42 people have been rescued from the rubble and are receiving medical attention.
Sunday Pius, a survivor, says he was awoken at around 3 a.m. Sunday by a loud, frightening sound. He rushed outside only to realize the building was falling down. He says he helped pull out five bodies. (ANA)
