Trump facing expanded criminal inquiry

WASHINGTON, 04 August. - (ANA) - Prosecutors seeking Donald Trump’s tax returns in New York have widened their probe to investigate claims of “protracted criminal conduct at the Trump Organization”.

The BBC says the new court filing suggests the inquiry is broader than alleged hush money payments made to two women who claim they had affairs with Trump.

The US president has dismissed the probe, describing it as a “witch hunt”.  - (ANA) -
