NEW DELHI, 24 July. - (ANA) - India reported the highest one-day spike of 45,720 coronavirus cases and 1,129 deaths this morning, government data shows.

 

So far 7,82,607 people have recovered, while 29,861 have died. 

 

Almost a quarter of Delhi’s 28 million residents may have coronavirus antibodies, making the Indian capital one of the worst hit cities in the world, research has revealed.

 

Coronavirus cases surged past one million mark as deaths hit new record.

 

A sample of 20,000 people carried out by India’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) found 23.4% had antibodies to the virus, with the majority of infections appearing to have been asymptomatic.  - (ANA) -
