LONDON, 17 July. - (ANA)- The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will announce £3 billion ($4 billion) of extra funding for the National Health Service (NHS) this winter as ministers prepare for a potential second wave of Covid-19. 

 

A Downing Street spokesperson said the prime minister wants the NHS to be “battle ready”. The funding will be made available immediately. 

 

Johnson is also expected to publish a new section of the government’s “road map” out of lockdown.   - (ANA) -
