Study finds reducing distancing to one metre doubles risk

GENEVA, 02 June. - (ANA) - A major study, part funded by the World Health Organization, found that reducing physical distancing advice from two metres to one metre could double the risk of coronavirus infection.

The UK’s current two-metre rule is out of kilter with advice in most other countries and with recommendations from the WHO, which says people should stay one metre apart. Other countries, including Germany and Australia, have a 1.5-metre rule.  - (ANA) -
