LONDON 25 Feb (ANA) - A Tory MP has apologised after video footage emerged of him exposing his penis to women in a pub.

 

Leigh MP James Grundy is shown dropping his trousers to show his genitals in camera phone footage obtained by LBC.

 

Before undoing his zip, Mr Grundy is heard saying: “I want to make sure, there’s no way you can get my face in this.”

 

Two women’s voices are then heard telling him to lift his “shirt up” so his groin can be seen by the camera.

 

After the footage was uncovered, Mr Grundy said: “I apologise for my actions and for any offence caused.”

 

Mr Grundy is the first Tory MP to be elected in Leigh for 97 years. The seat had been held by Labour since 1922.

 

It’s understood the footage was filmed in early 2007, when Mr Grundy would have been 26 or 27.(ANA)
