Mediterranean partners meet in Rabat to discuss key issues

BRUSSELS, 16 Feb. - (ANA) - Representatives from the Southern Mediterranean partner countries are meeting in the Moroccan capital Rabat for a two-day forum on 15-16 February, looking at Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the region and its importance for economic development. The event is organised by the European Training Foundation (ETF).

The aim of the regional forum is to share the findings from the ETF’s national consultations in the Mediterranean partner countries, to discuss common trends, progress and priorities across the region, and to identify future actions at regional level for the development of VET policies, with the involvement of EU and international actors.

Participants will also be involved in peer learning and policy discussions that are expected to contribute to strengthening the regional policy network in the area of VET.  - (ANA) -
