Geneva, Switzerland, 2 Sept. - (ANA) – The World Economic Forum's eighth Summit on the Global Agenda will take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 25-27 October 2015.
The Summit on the Global Agenda has been a unique partnership between the World Economic Forum and the United Arab Emirates since 2008. It is the annual gathering of the Network of Global Agenda Councils, which brings together over 1,000 thought leaders and influencers to assess critical global, regional and industry challenges. It is the world’s largest brainstorming, aiming to provide comprehensive insight and recommendations on some of the most pressing global challenges.
This summit will provide councils the opportunity to showcase and contextualize their achievements since the beginning of the term. It will also give members of the media an opportunity to gain insights from world class experts and access cutting-edge research. In total, there are 86 Global Agenda Councils, including:
