Kenyan University lecturers down tools over pay rise          

Nairobi, 5 Dec - (ANA) -  Learning in various Kenya's public universities has been disrupted after lecturers and non-academic staff downed tools protesting a delay in effecting a pay rise. The job boycott comes barely three months after another strike which grounded which grounded activities for three weeks. The lecturers accuse the government of failing to implement a deal in September which offered lecturers and non-teaching staff  91.8 million U.S. dollar  pay rise. (ANA)
