Moroccan Judiciary to study Human Trafficking
Rabat, 27 Nov - (ANA) - Two workshops on human trafficking are to be held in the Moroccan cities of Fes and Marrakesh this week, the organisers have announced. Organised by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Morocco, in collaboration with the Moroccan Ministry of Justice and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the workshops will draw participants from a cross section of Morocco's public sector including 50 magistrates and public prosecutors. The participatns are expected to discuss the distinctions between human smuggling and human trafficking and the challenges facing law enforcement agencies tasked with combating the issue. Experts from the Austrian government and the International Labour Organisation, ILO, will make presentations at the workshops funded by the Swiss Development Cooperation. (ANA)
