UK condemns murder of former Somali Trade Minister
London, 19 Jul – (ANA) – The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister for Africa Henry Bellingham has condemned the terrorist attack in the Somali capital of Mogadishu which killed the country’s former Trade Minister Mohamed Abdinur Garweyne and wounded a number of others. In a statement, Mr Bellingham said the United Kingdom, UK, as part of the international community, will stand shoulder to shoulder with those in Somalia that support a new constitution and the selection of a new Parliament by the 20 August deadline. The terrorist group, Al Shabaab, claimed responsibility for the attack. (ANA)
