Ugandan journalist wins invitation to 2012 AfDB annual meetings

Nairobi, 11 May – (ANA) - Ugandan News reporter Catherine Nambi won the African Press Organisation (APO) invitation to participate in the 2012 AfDB (African Development Bank) Annual Meetings taking place in Arusha, Tanzania from 28 May – 1 June. Nambi will travel to Arusha, cover the entire event and will have the opportunity to interview experts, senior officers of the AfDB and meet the AfDB Head of Communications.  Nambi holds a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University specialising in Broadcast Journalism. After a year  as a News Reporter for local Dembe FM Radio in Uganda, she joined the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Television as a freelance News Reporter before moving to the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Radio.
