OTTAWA, CANADA, 06 Oct. - (ANA) - As part of its modernization efforts, the Canadian Army has adopted a new mission-based structure to strengthen Canada's defence, improve readiness, and better support operations at home and abroad.

Formally recognized last month, this restructuring gives each formation a clear mission and helps the Army remain ready, adaptable, and equipped for the security challenges of today and tomorrow.   - (ANA) -
