[Published: Monday October 26 2026]

Houthis claim to have attacked Saudi East-West oil pumping station and Riyadh airport

SANAA, 26 Oct. - (ANA) -Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels said this morning they had attacked Saudi Arabia's East-West crude oil pumping stations and Riyadh airport, but there was ‌no immediate Saudi confirmation.

Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition fighting the militants in Yemen said it had launched attacks on the capital Sanaa, adding that it had destroyed two ballistic missile launchers in the city that were used to target Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia said its main airport resumed operations at two terminals yesterday even as the Houthis vowed to keep striking the facility, which they called a "military target".

Regional tensions remain high, fuelling fears of further escalation. - (ANA) -
