 Fuel shock sends consumer confidence crashing in South Africa

 
JOHANNESBURG, 25 June. - (ANA) - Consumer confidence in South Africa plunged to the lowest level in more than a year due to fuel price increases sparked by the Iran war.   - (ANA) -
 
The First National Bank and Bureau for Economic Research consumer confidence index plunged to -19 from -7, reaching a depth last seen in early 2025.   - (ANA) -
