OECD Ministerial Council Meeting 3-4 June
PARIS, 29 May. - (ANA) - OECD Ministerial Council Meeting is to take place in Paris from 3-4 June.
At a time of profound transformation in the global economic landscape, enhancing resilience, productivity and competitiveness demands policies that support industrial renewal, keep markets open and spur innovation-led growth. In this context, industrial policies have re-emerged as instruments to guide structural change, build technological capabilities, boost productivity and strengthen economic security.
At the 2026 Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM), OECD Members will engage in high-level discussions, including with non-Member partner countries, on how industrial strategies and competitive markets, domestically and globally, can contribute to long-term growth that supports higher standards of living for all.
The 2026 OECD MCM will be chaired by Finland, with Korea and New Zealand as Vice-Chairs. - (ANA) -
