DiEM25 Earth Day actions to ignite a transnational resistance
BRUSSELS, 17 April. - (ANA) - Across Europe and beyond, our collectives are transforming public spaces into hubs of resistance, solidarity, and political imagination. From London to Mexico City, these coordinated actions send a clear message: the climate crisis is not a technical glitch, it is the direct result of a broken economic and political system.
While governments stall and corporations greenwash, people are organising.
DiEM25’s Earth Day actions aim to highlight the link between environmental struggle, anti-militarism, and peace. They will bring together activists, artists, organisers, and everyday citizens to reclaim power and build a transnational movement capable of confronting climate collapse at its roots. Expect music, debate, direct outreach, and collective organising, all grounded in a shared commitment to climate justice, democracy, and systemic change.
To celebrate Earth Day events will take place on 22 April in Mexico City, Brussels, Copenhagen, Cologne, Dublin, Frank fury, London, , Munich, Oslo and Vienna. - (ANA) -
