 Amnesty condemns Kenya killings
London, 21 Jan – (ANA) – Amnesty international has expressed outrage at recent killings by Kenyan police saying based on the facts reported the killings appeared to be blatant and deliberate and amounted to extra judicial executions.
In a statement, Amnesty said "The Kenya government must ensure prompt, thorough, impartial and independent investigation of yesterday's killings. Any police officer suspected of participating in carrying out these killings must be brought to justice in a process which complies with international fair trial standards. "
A total of three people are reported to have been shot dead by Kenyan police in what has been described as “extra judicial executions.” (ANA)
