UN peacekeepers stabbed to death in DR Congo

Kinshasa, 18 Aug-(ANA)-Three Indian UN peacekeepers have been stabbed to death in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), media reports say.

The report said the three were hacked by suspected rebels who broke into the camp in Kirumba with knives and machetes rather than firearms, about 140 km north of Goma, capital of the Nord-Kivu province. (ANA)
