East Africa’s fibre-optic cable ahead of schedule

Nairobi, 25 March-(ANA)-The East African Submarine System, a fiber-optic cable linking 20 African countries, has landed at the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa two weeks ahead of schedule, reports Business Week.

It is the third major fibre optic cable to land in Kenya in the last six months and marks the start of a new level of connectivity for East-Africa.(ANA)
