Mortar attack on MPs in Somalia
Mogadishu, 21 Dec-(ANA)-At least 10 people have died after mortars were fired at Somali MPs meeting in Mogadishu for the first time since August.
Witnesses say at least three civilians died as government forces hit back with shells, and one hit a radio station.
Hardline Islamist groups are battling Somalia's UN-backed government, which only controls a few parts of Mogadishu.
A suicide bomber killed three ministers at a graduation this month, although al-Shabab rebels deny responsibility.
Somalia has not had a functioning national government since 1991. (ANA)
