Nurses blamed for deaths in Sierra Leone

Freetown, 20 Aug-(ANA)-Thirteen nurses in Sierra Leone have been accused of neglect resulting in patient deaths, health officials say.

Authorities say the dead included pregnant women and children but gave no official figures although unconfirmed reports say the death toll could be 25.

The nurses have been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation. (ANA)
