Petrol Crisis Hits Accra

Accra, 09 July-(ANA)-The Ghanaian capital, Accra, has been hit by petrol shortage as most filling stations went out of stock.

 

Reports say drivers queued or moved from one filling station to the other, searching for fuel.

The fuel shortage has been attributed to the ongoing rehabilitation work at the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).


TOR chief executive officer, Dr. Kwame Ampofo the project became necessary to enable its engineers carry out full maintenance works to ensure that the refinery operates at full capacity.(ANA)
