BEIRUT/TEL AVIV, 26 Nov. - (ANA) - Explosions rocked Lebanon's capital overnight as Israel hit the southern suburbs it says are a Hezbollah stronghold. 

 

The attacks came after Hezbollah fired hundreds of rockets into Israel on Sunday, with the group claiming the barrage hit a military site in Tel Aviv. 

 

Schools in Beirut are closed until the end of December due to safety concerns. 

 

Meanwhile, US envoy Amos Hochstein has reportedly told Israel's ambassador to Washington that he will walk away from ceasefire talks if Israel does not respond productively in the next few days. Mr Hochstein has travelled to Beirut and Israel to push for a pause in the fighting.   - (ANA) -
