OSLO, 11 Oct. - (ANA) - The Nobel Peace Prize this year was awarded to the Japanese organization Nihon Hidankyo, a grass-roots movement of atomic bomb survivors.

 

The group was recognized by the Nobel committee “for its efforts to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons and for demonstrating through witness testimony that nuclear weapons never be used again.”
