BEIRUT, 16 July. - (ANA) - The prime minister-designate of Lebanon has stepped down nearly nine months after he was tasked with forming the nation’s next government. 

 

Saad Hariri told reporters that President Michel Aoun had not accepted his latest cabinet. 

 

“For that reason I have stepped down from forming the government,“ he said, adding: “God help this country.”   - (ANA) -
