Death toll in California wildfire rises to 42

PARADISE, CALIFORNIA, USA, 13 Nov. - (ANA) - The death toll from the devastating Camp Fire in Paradise, California, has risen to 42.

This makes the fire the deadliest in state history, after the Griffith Park Fire in 1933 that killed 29. More than 200 people remain unaccounted for, meaning the toll could increase further.

As of Monday night, the fire had scorched more than 117,000 acres and stood at 30% containment.  - (ANA) -
